The Price for Peace

As the family of God, our goal should be to build peace and unity in Christ.

The world tells us it’s natural to “agree to disagree,” and we will always have some differences of opinion. But we should seek to disagree agreeably instead, not going with our usual impulse to fight (and sacrifice peace) or flight (and sacrifice unity).

To prevent conflict, we have to be willing to let go of our masks and be honest about ourselves and vulnerable with each other, willing to hold ourselves accountable to each other.
