This week we review the series about Grace & Truth.
John 1:14 tells us that Christ came to us, full of Grace & Truth. We look at the different swings believers, congregations, and Christians in general struggle with: the swings between extremes toward either. Christians that become consumes with truth to the exception of grace often veer towards legalism, and seek to encumber other with enslavement to the Law. Those who swing the other direction, those who veer towards devotion to Grace without truth, begin to live in rebellion. This begins to discredit God’s direct commands in favor of acceptance of things God has forbidden.
Christ comes as a balance of the two, not swinging between the extremes, but exemplifying a fullness of both. We look at what that means in His life, and how we are to imitate His example.
