Sermon text: Nehemiah 7-13
As the exiles finally finish the work they had been sent to do, Ezra reads the law. The hearers mourn, then celebrate as they hear the words. As they celebrate, they take an oath before God to keep God’s law. How do the Israelites live with God’s Law going forward? What did God want?
How often do we read God’s words? Where are our hearts? What are we dedicated to? How can we truly live the life God desires?
